What is a Cool Pack used for?

Every parent should have a cool pack (or a few!) in their fridge to treat:

  • Minor Injuries: To reduce swelling and inflammation caused by bumps, bruises, and minor injuries.
  • Insect Bites and Stings: To alleviate itching and reduce swelling.
  • Post-Immunisation: To reduce discomfort and swelling at the injection site after vaccinations.
  • Nosebleeds: Place the cool pack on the bridge of the nose or the back of the neck to help constrict blood vessels and stop the bleeding.
  • Distraction & Comfort Tool: To keep your little one occupied and comforted while you provide first aid.

Important safety information

  • This is not a toy; constant adult supervision is required 
  • If your child is likely to bite the pack, please wrap it in material to prevent piercing the plastic 
  • If the seal is broken, please discard the cool pack immediately 
  • If your child ingests any gel, please call Poisons Information 13 11 26 and advise them that the gel is made out of Sodium Polyacrylate

Our warehouse is committed to packing all orders within 48 business hours from time of purchase. Our courier partners pick up all orders midday on Mondays and Thursdays. During sale periods, please expect a 3-4 day turnaround time.

    I really wanted to love these but frozen they are ROCK hard and can’t be moulded. In the fridge not cold enough to work!

    Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback about our Character Cool Packs. I am so sorry to hear that you are not loving them. Usually, these are such a hit with little ones. Our products are designed to be used straight from the freezer or fridge, but we know everyone’s settings can vary, which can affect the texture.

    You might find it helps to store them in the door or top shelf of your freezer, as these spots tend to be slightly warmer and can prevent the packs from freezing too firmly.

    I am so sorry this has made it tricky to use them as intended. I really appreciate your feedback, and I've made a note of your experience to share with our development team for future formula and instruction reviews.
