Who created this course?

This course is created by Tiny Hearts co-founders Nikki & Rach and our team of medical experts.

During Nikki's time as a paramedic she would often be called to jobs where, had parents been confident with simple first aid, the outcome could have been very different. Kids could have been treated at home by their parents or, even more devastatingly, lives could have been saved.

As parents themselves, Nikki and Rach know how important it is to have the knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to emergency situations with our children confidently.

The best thing I invested in when I was pregnant
I chose to invest in Tiny Hearts courses instead of spending money on fancy baby clothes or nursery gadgets, and it was one of the best decisions we've made as parents. To be honest, while learning those skills, we hope we’d never need them. You can never predict what challenges your child might face, but you can prepare yourself to respond.
Our twins are now 2 years old, and I've honestly lost count of how many times the knowledge from these courses has helped us recognise when something wasn't right, know what to do while seeking medical care, and confidently advocate for our children.
We've dealt with breastmilk aspiration, multiple episodes of respiratory distress from RSV, rhinovirus and other viral infections, managed febrile seizures, and we're now navigating our daughter's ultra-rare genetic condition. Throughout all of these experiences, the education from Tiny Hearts has given us the confidence to stay calm, ask the right questions, and make informed decisions.
On more than one occasion, doctors and nurses have commented on how proactive we are and have even asked whether we have a medical background because of the questions we ask and the observations we make.
Tiny Hearts courses have been worth every single dollar and we recommend it for every new family we know.
