What is a Cool Pack used for?

Every parent should have a cool pack (or a few!) in their fridge to treat:

  • Minor Injuries: To reduce swelling and inflammation caused by bumps, bruises, and minor injuries.
  • Insect Bites and Stings: To alleviate itching and reduce swelling.
  • Post-Immunisation: To reduce discomfort and swelling at the injection site after vaccinations.
  • Nosebleeds: Place the cool pack on the bridge of the nose or the back of the neck to help constrict blood vessels and stop the bleeding.
  • Distraction & Comfort Tool: To keep your little one occupied and comforted while you provide first aid.

Important safety information

  • This is not a toy; constant adult supervision is required 
  • If your child is likely to bite the pack, please wrap it in material to prevent piercing the plastic 
  • If the seal is broken, please discard the cool pack immediately 
  • If your child ingests any gel, please call Poisons Information 13 11 26 and advise them that the gel is made out of Sodium Polyacrylate

    Quickly delivered. Small human loves them - asks to use them for mozzie bites and to cool down … which is great because they have been resistant to using any sort of ice pack previously. The strap and fabric surface make them easy to use too.

    My son loves it

    My 4 yo son is autistic and we've tried a few different ices packs and he hasn't wanted anything to do with them. This one he loved! He loves animals so the Koala was a win and having the velcro strap meant he was able to run around the house with it on. He also enjoyed that he could have the super cold side or the side with the material on his skin.

    Cute and useful

    Great little designs. Love having the softer side option. Still working on our little one accepting cold packs for bumps but otherwise they do the job and look great.
