What is a Cool Pack used for?

Every parent should have a cool pack (or a few!) in their fridge to treat:

  • Minor Injuries: To reduce swelling and inflammation caused by bumps, bruises, and minor injuries.
  • Insect Bites and Stings: To alleviate itching and reduce swelling.
  • Post-Immunisation: To reduce discomfort and swelling at the injection site after vaccinations.
  • Nosebleeds: Place the cool pack on the bridge of the nose or the back of the neck to help constrict blood vessels and stop the bleeding.
  • Distraction & Comfort Tool: To keep your little one occupied and comforted while you provide first aid.

Important safety information

  • This is not a toy; constant adult supervision is required 
  • If your child is likely to bite the pack, please wrap it in material to prevent piercing the plastic 
  • If the seal is broken, please discard the cool pack immediately 
  • If your child ingests any gel, please call Poisons Information 13 11 26 and advise them that the gel is made out of Sodium Polyacrylate

    So Clever

    These cold packs are a really soft material, and small enough for little limbs with the added benefit of a strap to keep it in place.

    I love that they are non-toxic, and a fun design so they are not overwhelming for my kids if they are already emotional from a bump or graze they may have got.
