Who created this course?

This course is created by Tiny Hearts co-founders Nikki & Rach and our team of medical experts.

During Nikki's time as a paramedic she would often be called to jobs where, had parents been confident with simple first aid, the outcome could have been very different. Kids could have been treated at home by their parents or, even more devastatingly, lives could have been saved.

As parents themselves, Nikki and Rach know how important it is to have the knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to emergency situations with our children confidently.

    Needs more visuals

    Overall thought the course was pretty good. However there were not enough visuals for important steps like CPR. The infant CPR was so far away in the video my husband and I had to watch a different video on YouTube to make sure we had the placement of our fingers correct. Also the Instagram page has extremely important information that the course never covered. For instance through an Instagram post I read to immediately take off a diaper if hot liquid is spilled on baby. This is never mentioned in the course. In fact the course says to leave all clothing on with burns. This is confusing and conflicting information.

    First aid course

    I purchased the first aid course online and can absolutely recommend this. It's easy to follow and so informative and I can do it at my own pace. Love that I have access so I can go back and do a refresher in the future too.
